Imagine a World

“For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes. There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus” Galatians 3:26-28 

Imagine a world where everyone is looked upon as equal, a world where we are not defined by the color of our skin, where we live, where we went to school, our political party, our past, our gender. This is not only the world God imagines, it’s the world He created. Before the fall, man didn’t even know that he was naked. There was no shame and no blame until sin entered the world.

But God in His infinite wisdom had a plan from ages past. And that plan was Jesus. Through faith in Jesus Christ we are restored, made new. Galatians says we have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes. When God looks at us He doesn’t see our old clothing: Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male or female. He just sees Jesus. For we are all one in Him.

Imagine a world where we see each other the way God sees us.
