Stay on Course

“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

If you’re lost in the woods, a compass can be a lifesaver. With it you can figure out which way you’re going and make sure you stay on course. But only if you know how to use it.

God has given us His inspired word to be the compass for our lives. It’s the instruction manual for Godly living. 2 Timothy gives us a brief summary of how the Bible can help us stay on course: 

• It teaches us what is true.

• It makes us realize what is wrong in our lives.

• It corrects us when we are wrong.

• It teaches us to do what is right.
  

God uses his written word, the Bible, to prepare and equip his people to do every good work. With it you can figure out which way you’re going and make sure you stay on course.
