Your Life has Purpose

“For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus.” 2 Timothy 1:9

If living a holy life sounds impossible to you, keep reading. While it’s true that nobody’s perfect, living a holy life is not so much about perfection, but more about purpose. The Amplified bible says God called us “with a holy calling, a calling that leads to a consecrated life—a life set apart—-a life of purpose.”

Your life has purpose. God’s holy calling is for you to be set apart, consecrated for the purpose of knowing Christ and making him known. He empowers us by his grace, not our own merit, to live a life that is not necessarily perfect, but one that is set apart for his purpose.
