Unfailing Love

But each day the Lord pours his unfailing love upon me, and through each night I sing his songs, praying to God who gives me life. - Psalm 42:8 (NLT)

When you’re hiking in the heat of summer and you stumble upon an unexpected waterfall, there is nothing quite like it. If the water is shallow enough, you can climb under the waterfall and let the cool, refreshing water cascade over you. Psalm 42 tells us that day after day the Lord pours his unfailing love upon us. Like water flowing from a waterfall, God refreshes us each day by pouring over us a constant supply of his unfailing love. His love sustains us through the night like a beautiful and peaceful song so that we can awaken once again and give praise to the God who gives us life.
